Alongside Communion Records and Publishing, Communion Presents emerged from a monthly new music club-night in Notting Hill in 2006 and has grown into an established independent concert and festival promoter. The company represents over 200 incredible artists from Michael Kiwanuka, Ben Howard and Maggie Rogers, to Sam Fender, Freya Ridings and George Ezra. Communion Presents has recently expanded from solely promoting shows in the capital to working in multiple territories across the UK for artists including Lewis Capaldi, Bastille and Ella Eyre. The team is behind the live music programming of London’s new state of the art 600 capacity venue Lafayette, and its sister 300 capacity venue Omeara, with more venues planned to join the portfolio over the next 12-24 months.
Communion Music artists include Sam Fender, Bastille & Lewis Capaldi, Dan Croll, Michael Kiwanuka, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Ben Howard, James Bay, George Ezra, Bear's Den, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Daughter and Highly Suspect.
BIRD ON THE WIRE was conceived by two friends – Clémence Godard and Tim Palmer – in 2009 and brought to life with a three-day mini festival in a sweltering basement in Dalston. After their launch, BOTW quickly turned into a fully running, wholly independent, concert promotions company hosting events all over London (and beyond) including some of the capital’s most prestigious and unique venues. They have been developing an ever-growing number of artists including The War On Drugs, Angel Olsen, Squid, Mac DeMarco, Nils Frahm, Steam Down, black midi, Kings Of Convenience, Big Thief, Tim Hecker, Young Fathers to name a few, and co-founded Visions Festival. Their 10th anniversary events last year included Mac DeMarco… Will See You Now - a takeover of Dreamland, Margate’s iconic amusement park with a line-up co-curated with Mac, and a stage at End Of The Road Festival.
